The River Pigs have been rockin’ Northwest fans for 10 years, serving up a gumbo of various musical styles.  Whether it’s original songs or covers, they get cookin’ with tight grooves, tasty licks and stirring vocals.  With years of experience between them, Scott Foxx (acoustic & electric guitars/fiddle/mandolin), has been called “Wizard of the Strings”, laying down blistering instrumental solos.  Jeff Leslie (electric/resonator/slide guitars) delivers wrenching riffs and edgy vocals.  The impassioned, raw voice of Val Billington (bass/vocals), her harmonies and unshakable bass playing, compliment the dynamic drum work of Derek Michael Marc whose stunning voice is capable of hushing a noisy crowd. While it’s always desirable to have great musicians in a band, the best bands have always been made up of musicians who can really play off of each other.  This is the essence of The River Pigs.
